Located in Prince George, British Columbia we are a family operated recycling company.
At BIGBARK it's our genuine desire to create a community that is greener, cleaner and friendlier to the environment. It is our goal to move forward and create local markets and opportunities for all of the items that we recycle.
At BIGBARK our mandate is to be more than a simple Collection Service. Many of the products that we collect are being repurposed into new products. For example, much of the glass we collect gets recycled into sandblast material right here in Prince George. Did you know that shredded plastic can mixed with concrete to build with?
We believe in creating an industry for recyclables right here in our community.
We are involved with community groups to help provide work skills and employment. We don't just talk the talk, we walk the walk by purchasing carbon credits to help off-set the emissions from our collection vehicle.
We donate to various charities and help out every opportunity we get. With the BIGBARK Bottle Bank Program we make it very easy for our customers to donate to local charities as well.
We are developing specific rural recycling programs and looking to expand to all of our neighbors.
